How to Use the Mobile Letter Unscrambler

Our tool is designed to be fast and easy to use on any device — phone, tablet, or desktop. Follow these simple steps to find every possible word from your tiles.

Basic Steps

Step 1 — Enter Your Letters

Type up to 15 letters from your tile rack into the input box. Letters only — no spaces or numbers. The tool is not case sensitive so uppercase and lowercase both work fine.

Step 2 — Select Blank Tiles

If you have blank tiles (wildcards), use the Blank Tiles dropdown to select how many you have — 0, 1, or 2. The tool will treat each blank as any letter of the alphabet when searching for words.

Step 3 — Set Maximum Word Length

Use the Max Word Length dropdown to control the longest words returned. Default is 7 letters which covers standard Scrabble racks. Set it higher if you want to find longer words.

Step 4 — Enter Board Letters (Optional)

If there are letters already on the board that your word must include, enter them in the position boxes. For example if position 3 must be an E, type E in the Pos 3 box. Leave positions blank if there are no board constraints.

Step 5 — Click Find Words

Tap the green Find Words button. Results appear instantly, grouped by word length and sorted by Scrabble point value so the highest scoring words appear first in each group.

Understanding the Results

Results are organized by word length — 2-letter words, then 3-letter words, and so on up to your maximum. Each word shows its Scrabble point value in parentheses next to it, calculated from standard tile values.

Example:
Letters entered: SCRABLE + 1 blank tile
Results include: SCRABBLE (16pts), CABLERS (11pts), CLABBER (13pts), and dozens more.
The tool finds every valid combination so you never miss a high-scoring play.
